Membership Criteria

The Florida Association of Medical Examiners (FAME) has three categories of members: active, affiliate, and emeritus:

You are eligible for FAME membership if you are a Florida medical examiner or work in a professional capacity at a medical examiner now or have retired from such service.  Please fill out an application and send with a check for $25 (active member) or $10 (affiliate member) made out to the "Florida Association of Medical Examiners" to:

An interest in forensic science or medical examiners does NOT make one eligible for FAME membership. You must be a medical examiner or professional working for a medical examiner in Florida.Out-of-state medical examiners and professionals are also NOT eligible for FAME membership.

Once you are FAME member, you will receive your website user name and password via the email address that you provided on your application form. The email will look like this:
